Ms. Holschuh has extensive experience working with adopted children and their families. She specializes in assessing and treating issues related to adoption including reactive attachment disorder, pervasive developmental disorder, and other mood disorders including post-traumatic stress disorder. She works with children who have experienced severe early life trauma resulting from abuse/neglect and multiple caretakers in the first years of life. She uses many strategies and educational tools including energy psychology. She has over 30 years of experience working with special needs children including children diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder with a focus on adoption and early trauma. She has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

Ms. Holschuh received her education at the State University of Iowa (BA) in Sociology and at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (MSSW) in Social Work.
